‘Skeeal’ is a five-piece band from the Isle of Man. Drawing on traditional and original material, they shape imaginative and thoughtful arrangements, moving between the Gaelic languages. The debut CD from Skeeal features vocals in Manx and Scottish Gaelic, flutes and guitar, bringing together traditional and original material in a lively, energetic sound. Songs and tunes of the sea take their place alongside stories of unrequited love.
